Cookie Policy

Last updated October 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how IEO, doing business as VisitTennis ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website at https://visittennis.app ("Website"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.

We do not use cookies to collect personal information for advertising purposes. A banner asks you to accept or reject Google Analytics. Until you accept, no Google script is loaded and no _ga cookie is set. Your choice is stored for 6 months; you can change it via "Manage cookies" in the footer.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, VisitTennis) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website.

Why do we use cookies?

We use essential cookies so the Website can operate (sign-in and language). We also use a functional cookie to apply a discount you requested through an attribution link, and first-party measurement cookies to count visits, sign-ups, and payments from a campaign. We do not use cookies for advertising or targeting.

Essential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as logging into your account.

vt_locale.visittennis.apphttp_cookieRemembers the language you chose (FR/EN)1 year

A banner asks you to accept or reject Google Analytics. The vt_consent cookie stores that choice for 6 months. You can change it via "Manage cookies" in the footer.

Functional cookies (requested discount)

If you arrive with a link such as visittennis.app/?ref=balle2math, we store that origin in the first-party cookie vt_ref. This cookie exists to apply the promotional code you asked for (BALLE2MATH, 10% off the first payment) and to attach that origin to your account at sign-up. The first origin is kept for 30 days: a later visit does not overwrite it. This is a functional cookie required to provide the discount you requested. The vt_src cookie does not apply any discount.

First-party measurement

We record funnel events (visit, sign-up, email verified, first analysis, paywall view, upgrade click, checkout started, successful payment, refund) to measure traffic and conversions. Each event contains a type, a timestamp, an anonymous visitor identifier, a user id if you are signed in, and the ref/src fields. We do not store email addresses or raw IP addresses in these events. Known bots are excluded from visit events. This internal first-party measurement does not set Google cookies and does not depend on the banner: it stays active even if you reject Google Analytics.

Google Analytics

If you click "Accept", we load Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google LLC. These cookies measure visits and funnel steps (sign-up, first analysis, paywall view, checkout started, successful payment). We do not send your email, name, or account id. IP addresses are anonymized. Until you accept, no Google script is loaded and no _ga cookie is set.

Google LLC may process this data in the United States, outside the European Union. We rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers. Google's privacy notice: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Third-party resources

Our Website displays country flags from Flagcdn (flagcdn.com) and a small number of player images sourced from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). Loading these images may cause your browser to request resources from those third parties, which are not controlled by us. Loading Wikimedia images may also cause your browser to receive a cookie set by Wikimedia (WMF-Uniq), which is used by Wikimedia for their own reporting purposes. You may find Wikimedia's privacy policy here: https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Privacy_policy.

How can I control cookies on my browser?

As the means by which you can refuse cookies through your web browser controls vary from browser to browser, you should visit your browser's help menu for more information. The following is information about how to manage cookies on the most popular browsers:

Blocking the essential session cookie (vt_session) will prevent you from staying logged in. Blocking vt_ref will prevent the BALLE2MATH discount from being applied automatically (you can still type the code at checkout). For Google Analytics, use the banner or "Manage cookies": Reject prevents the script from loading and stops _ga cookies from being set.

How often will you update this Cookie Policy?

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please therefore revisit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.

The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
